OSTEOPATHY
David Robinson qualified with a degree in Osteopathy from the highly respected European School of Osteopathy in 2005. Since then he has worked around the Sussex and Surrey area treating a variety of patients ranging from newborn babies, Olympic athletes to 92-year-old pensioners.
Since graduating David has always been keen to further his education and therefore the quality of care that he can give to his patients. Postgraduate courses he has attended include medical acupuncture, advanced sports massage and visceral osteopathy, which he taught for two years at the ESO. In the near future David hopes to be more involved in the area of sports medicine and rehabilitation and will be undertaking postgraduate courses in these specialities
David has always been a keen sportsman and has represented his county at rugby, athletics and has competed in national schools swimming competitions. Unfortunately his body could not keep pace and after a serious knee injury sustained during a rugby match he gave up contact sports to concentrate on endurance events and now competes in triathlons and long distance swimming races throughout the year. In fact it was from sustaining numerous injuries during his sporting career and the subsequent treatment and rehabilitation he received from a sports osteopath that ignited his interest in this area of medicine and sparked a change in career.
